Born and raised in Iowa and having taught junior high math for several years in Annapolis, Md., Kansas City and Iowa, Cindy moved to Colorado to attend graduate school at the University of Denver. She remembers sitting in the high-rise dorm that she directed and watching it snow, much to her delight, 16 inches on 16th of September; she had come to Colorado to learn to ski…and things were shapin’ up nicely. Since that time she has lived in Colorado and Colorado Springs in the Broadmoor area for more than 20 years. Before she began her real estate career in l998, Cindy worked as the Director of Financial Aid at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and owned and operated a Crabtree & Evelyn retail store.
Cindy is married to Mike Tracy, a commercial real estate appraiser, who has worked in the Colorado Springs market for the past 25 years, and they have a daughter, Ana, now 20. Ana attended Cheyenne Mountain schools for the majority of her education and enjoyed playing volleyball and horseback riding. She is now working, considering her options and enjoying life as a 20-something! The family also includes two dogs, Mercedes, a boxer and Patch, a rat terrier…you can guess who’s in charge.
Cindy enjoys traveling skiing, golfing, playing bridge and vows to learn to play her folk harp that currently occupies a place of honor in her basement.
